May the 4th 2021 Letter
Dear May the 4th Creator,
My apologies for the delay. Thank you so much for writing for me – I can’t wait to see whatever you come up with. Feel free to ODAO, mix/match prompts, or merely use these ideas as jumping off points.
DNWs: Crossovers with non-Star Wars fandoms. Non-Star Wars settings or AU set-ups (omegaverse, mundane coffee shop AU). Rule 63 or genderswap. Issuefic (in-universe canon-typical galactic politics or prejudices is fine).
Chelli Lona Aphra/Domina Tagge
Aphra on Domina Tagge: "The inimitable Domina Tagge, who is stunning, I might add."
Domina Tagge is such a hot evil space capitalist, and I want her to do bad things to Aphra.
Dubcon/noncon is welcome though not necessary. Bring on the sugar mommy vibes if you’re into it.
In general, I just want to read about Domina being all elegant and evil, while Aphra snarks at her, tbh.
Ideas:
- PWP. Dark Fuck Princess Domina Tagge pinning Aphra against walls and menacing her. And Aphra is subby as hell and into it, even while bratty and snarky. More of Domina threatening Aphra with asphyxiation while Aphra has trauma flashbacks to Vader.
- Fake dating. Domina takes Aphra to a fancy space ball as her plus one. She’s hired Aphra to steal from the host or a guest (a business competitor?), but that doesn’t stop her from dressing up Aphra in expensive formalwear and showing her off.
- Sex pollen. Aphra brings back something that Domina’s hired her to steal but it explodes into an aphrodisiac.
- Stranded on a planet together. I don’t know how it could happen, but I think it would be fun.
Just Lucky/Ronen Tagge
Just Lucky on Ronen Tagge: "He thinks he can own you if he throws enough money at you. 'Course, he eventually gets tired of his playthings."
(Or, when Aphra pretends to betray the crew to Tagge, Lucky remarks to Okka: "We all make mistakes. Especially when they're pretty." Feel free to interpret this line in a Tagge/Lucky lense.)
Like Domina/Aphra, dubcon/noncon is welcome, and, uh, sugar daddy vibes, too? Again, whatever you're comfortable with. Anyways, Lucky has been clear that he’d do anything to help his brother, whose life/safety is at risk because of his gambling habit. And I raised my eyebrows very high when Wen Delphis asked Lucky - "You have lost weight. Was Ronen treaing you poorly?" - because this sure leaves open some fun wining-and-dining rich benefactor opportunities.
Or, in general, evil boss/hired assasin henchman tropes. I am a simple person of simple tastes.
Ideas:
- PWP. Lucky has a history/reputation of sucking dick and tentacles and so on to pay his brother’s gambling debts, which Tagge is aware of and takes full advantage of.
- Art date. Tagge waxes poetic and destroys something rare (that Lucky’s smuggled for him?). Lucky doesn’t really get it, but sure, whatever works for his boss. Or even a gratuitous 'draw me like one of your French girls' scene where Tagge makes Lucky pose nude for a sculpture or portrait by a hired artist - to be destroyed soon after.
- Fake dating. Similar to the Domina/Aphra prompt above, Ronen hires Lucky to assassinate someone at a swanky event, all while Lucky is undercover as his plus one.
Just Lucky/Lapin
Ideas:- Hurt/comfort. Lapin picks up the pieces after Lucky returns from a job – whether it’s a failed mission, or, well, after having been fucked by Ronen Tagge. (Also featuring Lucky's concerns over his brother.)
- Workplace romcom. Like five times that Lucky asked Lapin out, and the one time that Lapin did. Leaning on the personality and job differences, with Lapin being a wheel in a galactic company who adheres to the formalities/procedures, while Lucky is the flirty reckless assassin smuggler.
- As a smuggler, Lucky is also the GFFA’s equivalent to a weed dealer (not spice, but something less ‘hard’ like haneli flower). He becomes this for TaggeCo employees. Lapin’s annoyed that they must deal with this annoying guy to get their space weed.
Bodhi Rook/Sinjir Rath Velus
This might seem entirely random, but I love how they’re both Imperial defectors and think they would make an interesting ship. I’m open to anything with both of them with a range of tones – whether it’s an AU where Bodhi convinces Sinjir to defect, or torture whump where Bodhi has traumatic flashbacks to Bor Gullett while Sinjir hurts him.
Ideas:
- Pre-Rogue One AU. During a routine inspection on Eadu, Sinjir figures out that Bodhi’s a traitor.
- Post-Rogue One AU. Bodhi gets captured while on a mission for the Rebel Alliance. Sinjir is the interrogator in question.
- Post-Aftermath Trilogy AU. Bodhi’s a pilot for the New Republic, and he’s been hired to fly around Mon Mothma’s advisor. He doesn’t know what to think of Sinjir, especially because Imperial loyalty officers used to terrify him.
- Sinjir picks up Bodhi at a bar! I mean it when I say I am a simple person of simple tastes, lol.
Ganis Ducain/Finn
I was so very charmed by the Star Wars Adventures issue with them. Looking for some lighthearted Resistance bonding between Finn and Ducain, with emphasis on their backstories and similarities!
Ideas:
- Adventure. Ducain shares his smuggler contacts who are willing to work with the Resistance, and Finn’s been tasked to be his handler and make sure transactions go smoothly.
- Slice-of-life basefic. Finn teaches Ducain something about what it’s like to be a rebel and/or soldier. A weapon, a strategy, a helpful habit, etc. Or something small like playing sabacc or any other kind of GFFA game together.
- PWP or crack. Canonically, Finn keeps getting attacked by tentacle monsters (rathtar in TFA, candori in the SWA issue with Ducain). It happens again while on a mission with Ducain, and Ducain is very ???? about it.
Rey/Zay Versio
I was disappointed that they didn’t really get to interact in Resistance Reborn. They’re both pilots!!!! And I love the idea of Zay being intrigued by the Jedi ever since her dad told her about his meeting with Luke Skywalker (“a choice to be better”).
They could have so many interesting conversations, especially because Zay is invested in the Resistance for personal reasons because her family has ties to the Alliance and the Empire before it, while post-TLJ!Rey is trying to find her place.
And post-TROS Rey Palpatine reveal, it’s notable that they both have shitty grandfathers! Zay knows what it’s like to have family who did terrible things!
Also, Rey would absolutely adore Dio. ♥
I'm okay with fic of any rating. If you want to write Rey and Zay getting together when they're 16/19 in canon (possibly 17/19 or 17/20 with the post-TLJ timeskip?) or sometime after canon when Zay's 18+, I'm fine either way.
Ideas:
- Post-TLJ/RR. Zay watches as Rey does Jedi practice with Leia. Eventually she works up the courage to talk to her and awkwardly flirt with her.
- Post-TLJ/RR missionfic or slice-of-life. Zay and Rey nerd out over flying either on-base or on a mission with Shriv.
- While on a mission for the Resistance, Zay and Rey get stranded on a planet together.
- Post-TROS. Zay is a pilot for the New (New) Republic, and she encounters Rey (who's doing Jedi stuff?). Or maybe Zay is a freelance pilot and taking up the family hauling business and Rey hires her (hauling something that has to do with Jedi artifacts, a new Jedi academy, etc.).
- PWP. Zay is very much into Rey’s Force abilities and strength.
- Crackfic where Zay and Pacer Agoyo* compete to get Rey-senpai to notice them.
