My beautiful dark scheming threesome ship, who were happy boys growing up in an orphanage together and then were painfully separated, but later emerged as a politician, a Yakuza member, and a police officer with Mafia ties who are planning to take the world by a storm and get back at those who hurt them!!!

The scanlation isn’t up to date with the ongoing manga, but I really do love what we’ve seen already. I’m okay with spoilers; I just really want fic of these three - the innocence of childhood, the pain of separation, the brutality of vengeance and violence and success and survival and ruthlessness. Tell me about how Hal/Sam always feel like there’s something missing when they’re together, in bed and outside of bed; and finally, finally, reunion. Bring on the h/c, especially when it comes to Nobu. :(

Do any of them ever have a moment of doubt / crisis of conscience about their criminal actions? Or what if an unseen enemy figures out the link between the three and threatens them? Or - outsider POV on their tangled relationship, whether Ryou from Dear Hatter or something written in the style of a newspaper article expose.

Or: Sense8 fusion, and Hal/Sam/Nobu are a cluster.

Death Note (Live Action TV)

Yagami Light, L Lawliet, Near | Mello

The Death Note jdrama is vastly different in characterization compared to the anime/manga, and I am so fond of drama!Light. He’s a soft, plaid, anxiety-ridden boy who didn’t intend to turn out evil, but stumbled into this whole mess and headed down the wrong path, and L ended up genuinely caring for him even though he’s a smug jerk to him at the same time.

As for Near, the puppet thing is...weird...but drama!Near is really cute and sweet.

Feel free to write fic with one, two, or all three of these characters. I ship L/Light (can you believe that Light kissed L's dead body???) but you don't have to necessarily write anything romantic.

Prompts:

L wins and survives! He keeps Light as his personal prisoner. Or delve more into the sketchy ethical stuff about L imprisoning Light in canon - the drama is one of the few adaptations that addressed how messed up that was and how he got so disoriented etc.
Light is jealous that Near inherits L’s ring and he wishes he got it instead.
A dramatic last video from L to Light, telling him about his ~feelings~ for him. Did Light ever see it or is it something that Near withheld? (I’d be interested in seeing outsider Near POV in general about L-->Light. Because, well, the point of the drama is that L was at a major disadvantage because he cared about Light so much, and he was fully ready to die and let Near take the win. And even at the end, he was holding onto the last bit of hope that Light really wasn’t Kira.)
Time loop/redo/Groundhog Day fic. After dying, Light ends up redoing his life or a certain day. What would turn out differently or the same?
Near | Mello backstory fic! I’m fine if you headcanon them as trans* (I see Near as a transboy or nonbinary) and I’m curious how their life was like growing up as L’s successor, especially the push/pull between the two personalities. Would love to see aftermath fic, too - what is their life like after canon?
Light pulls a Mishima after the Yotsuba arc - he regrets being Kira and changes sides. Or, heck, even make him good even earlier on - what would have made Light Yagami stop? What if it blew up in his face - what if Soichiro died early on, after that hostage situation or any case afterward? And L was able to influence him for the better.

Speaking of the Yotsuba arc, the drama was Weak™ and didn't commit to them being handcuffed for more than a few seconds, unlike the animanga - so if you want to rectify that, please do.

Death Note: Light Up the New World

Mishima Tsukuru, Ryuzaki, Shien Yuuki

This movie is kind of ridiculous, but it’s a lot of fun, and I love how extra the ‘next generation’ Death Note characters are. I’m fine with any combination of these characters - it could just be about one of them, two of them, or all of them in a fic.

Prompts:

Mishima backstory fic. How exactly did he get to the point that he decided to be Neo-Kira? Tell me about his Yagami Light fanboying, his life as an officer under Matsuda, and the full story and aftermath of discovering Yagami Hikari, Mikami, and Ryuk. And oh - I think it was implied he might’ve killed Yagami Soichiro - how did that happen? Or what if Mishima approached Misa right after he got the Death Note?
Mishima, after - his hunt for the Death Notes while leading the taskforce as the next L. How's it like to chase down the current Death Note holders? (If you're familiar with the Black Mirror episode Hated in the Nation, potential prompt here re: someone using a Note in tandem with social media.)
Ryuzaki backstory fic. I’d love to see fic that touches on his life as a detective and interacting with L’s other successors or even L himself. What's his takeaway from what happened with L and Light and how he fell into the same fate himself? Ryuzaki's New Generation episode was really cool - scruffy flippant action hero detective! - and I want to see more in that vein. I’d even be interested in the fallout of his death being addressed - Mello or Near or J reflecting on growing up with and working with Ryuzaki and being all what the fuck, he entrusted the taskforce to NEO-KIRA!!!! and confronting Mishima.
Shien is the most extra of them all. He’s traumatized by his past and he’s a Kira worshipper and he’s just...dramatic as hell...and it’s weirdly delightful to watch him onscreen. Just go wild, write something about him and his obsessiveness, or even a what-if AU if he lived and ended up joining Mishima on the taskforce.

I ship Mishima/Ryuzaki (Mishima switching sides because ~friendship feelings~ & Ryuzaki’s shinigami Arma sacrificing herself because she realizes that Ryuzaki loves Mishima & Ryuzaki making Mishima the next L) and Mishima/Shien (loyalty kink and Kira worship kink, y/y), but you don’t have to write anything necessarily romantic.

HIStory2-越界 | HIStory2: Crossing the Line (2018)

Wang Zhen Wen, Wang Zhen Wu

For WenWu, I’d love to see angsty pre-canon pining and Zhen Wen dealing with the trauma of his kidnapping. Tell me about the guilt - Zhen Wu blaming himself and devoting himself to following Zhen Wen around; Zhen Wen thinking Zhen Wu is just doing it all out of obligation and he hates himself for being in love with his stepbrother. Show me the ~shameful dreams~ Zhen Wen’s been having about kissing his brother (or more than kissing); and all the nightmares he has about being kidnapped and Zhen Wu comforting him.

For post-canon stuff, I’m interested in seeing how they navigate their relationship, especially as stepbrothers...fluff or angst or both is fine.

Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan

So, this fandom has pretty much devoured my life for awhile, and I have nothing but utter adoration for SW/ZYL as a ship, because their love for each other is so epic and beautiful. I like all the pining, protectiveness, identity porn, time travel, hurt/comfort, whump, etcetera. in canon.

Prompts:

I will always be interested in the fic possibilities of Zhao Yunlan staying longer in the past after time traveling - I headcanon that he was there much longer than two days, and young!Shen Wei fell in love with him over time. So, I’ll take any fic set ten thousand years ago - both of trying to locate the Hallows, fighting the rebels, etc., a process over the course of months.
Arranged marriage fic. Also set in the past - the real Kunlun’s relatives discover that this ‘Kunlun’ is a fake, and threaten to expose ZYL as a fraud. For their silence, they demand that ZYL, as Kunlun, get married to the Black-Cloaked Envoy to bring their family honor and a dowry from the allied forces.
- Shen Wei would look so beautiful in traditional red wedding robes and his long hair.
- When Zhao Yunlan returns to the present: "You didn't tell me we were married!" And he's delighted and starts telling everyone that they're husbands. Shen Wei: "...You know it wasn't real..."
Get-together fic filling in the blanks around episodes 14-15! How was their first kiss or first time like? How do they start practically living together, Shen Wei cooking for ZYL and pretty much having moved in? Bring on the boyfriends fluff.
Casefic. It doesn’t have to be anything necessarily detailed or plotty, but it’d be fun to see these two solving a case with the rest of the SID team, and maybe some dramatic protectiveness or h/c moments. Bonus tropes: sex pollen, undercover as a hooker, accidental baby acquisition during a case (idk, some random Dixingian kid?), wingfic (one of them accidentally grows wings because of an artifact or something?)
Fix-it fic for the finale. These two deserve a happy ending.
I’m fairly sure that them using the Longevity Dial together meant they formed a soulbond, so I’m open to allll the soulbond tropes.
By all means, write filthy porn for me if you’re comfortable. Top/dom!Shen Wei & flirty shameless subby bottom ZYL is where my id is at. However, I’m okay with top/taking-the-lead!ZYL if it’s time travel fic with young!SW.
- And, uh. If you so wish, pile on the ‘babe/baby’ endearments from ZYL to SW and ZYL calling SW 'sir' & outright roleplaying as a prostitute. Go to town with pseudo-incestous stuff like ZYL calling SW ‘Black-Cloaked Brother’ or daddy kink novel-inspired stuff (SW calling ZYL ‘brat/kid’ and that joke ZYL made about calling SW ‘daddy’). Seriously, you’ll have zero complaints from me.
- I just love how Shen Wei is #ActuallyTheStrongest and Zhao Yunlan would be 100% into it during sex. Bondage is nice, too. And also, SW-->ZYL orgasm denial and eventual praise kink--
- There is never enough ‘Zhao Yunlan suggestively eats a lollipop and then they fuck’ fic in the world.

I’m pretty much happy with anything SW/ZYL - anything that’s angsty, porny, plotty, funny, domestic slice-of-life.

My only caveat is not to bring too much of the novel in, even though I'm fine with the occasional reference and, well, look at my porn likes section. Going to note - I’m fascinated by how dark novel!Shen Wei is...but he’s different from drama!Shen Wei and I think of them as two different characters. I also don't think reincarnation has much of a place in the drama verse. I'm 100% okay if you haven't read the novel and you're not familiar with it.

Bai Xiao Peng, Lan Yi Jing

So, these two are dating by the end, right? I like how slashy this film is - it’s about an outgoing wealthy playboy and a reserved popstar who used to be childhood friends. They meet again when they’re older; they first hate each other and have this silly competitive rivalry, but they genuinely become friends (to the point that the public wonders if they’re a couple).

I want to see fic filling in the blanks about their romance! I think they officially became an item after Xiao Peng followed Yi Jing to Canada (for Yi Jing’s sister’s wedding) and they ended up hooking up there. Or, just feel free to write anything about them getting together, to be honest, because these two are so cute. Like other competitions they get themselves into, or Lan Yi Jing writing a song for Bai Xiao Peng. \o/ Or how about fic that interweaves flashbacks to their childhood?

Or: forum/Weibo/general social media fic with fans speculating about their relationship

I’ll also take fic that plays with soulmarks tropes, which would be fun because Lan Yi Jing is a popstar and that always makes for interesting scenarios when one of them’s famous...
